Helen Dodson began her career in real estate in the late ‘70s, shortly after moving to Shepherd Park with her husband Norris. He was then a real estate broker with John R. Pinkett, Inc., a real estate and insurance firm established by his grandfather in 1932. Norris convinced her to begin selling real estate with the family company.

Now after 100s of sales in the city of Washington and suburbs of Maryland, Helen continues to enjoy helping home sellers and buyers make smart decisions. She gets great results using her marketing skills, market knowledge, and negotiating expertise. Many of Helen’s sales are in Shepherd Park and Colonial Village, where she loves to live and work.

Driven to deliver excellence with compassion and integrity, Helen has been a consistent full-time top producer. She earned a Top Agent award from Washingtonian Magazine in 2018 and is excited to have recently joined the Compass real estate company. She holds several Realtor designations including Graduate of the Realtor Institute (GRI) and Certified Residential Specialist (CRS).

Helen is a native of Washington and provided volunteer service to the community for 12 years as a mayoral appointee on the DC Real Estate Commission which protects the public through the licensing and education of real estate agents.

Helen and Norris raised three children in Shepherd Park and when away from work they enjoy spending time with their three grandchildren.
