The Shepherd Park Community Center will open in the fall of 2020. The center will add its resources to Shepherd Elementary School's facility.

These additions and expansions will include a Gymnasium, Multipurpose Room, Fitness Center, Office, Storage Space, and bathrooms. The school will use the center during school hours and the community afterward. Along with the recreation center addition, the project will also include renovating the school’s existing warming kitchen and cafeteria to a full cooking kitchen and serving area.
