In 1975, Rehoboth Church moved from 8th & L Streets, NW to its current location on 16th Street NW under the leadership of the late Charlie B. Burroughs, Sr.  With this move, the church name was changed to First United Church of Jesus Christ, Apostolic. In 2006, Elder Charles E. Dunn was appointed interim Pastor and in 2016 he was officially anointed and confirmed as Lead Pastor.   Their purpose is to worship the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ according to the Holy Scriptures.  They serve to produce healthy Christian families and quality citizens in their various communities and strive to impact their communities with reasonable service where they can be of assistance.
